'Thala' Ajith Kumar's magnum opus Asal, is all set to be lauched today at Annai Illam, T.Nagar (Chennai). When we spoke to our Galatta team correspondent, who is at the venue, we got to know that there is an enormous crowd which has gathered there just to get a glimpse of the actor.
Most of Ajith Kumar's fan clubs have assembled, and people have come from as far as Kanyakumari, only to witness this function and wish Ajith good luck!
This would be Ajith's 49th film in his career spanning 15 years and the amount of euphoria and enthusiasm surrounding it is something that Kollywood has never seen before!
Asal is directed by Saran of Amarkalam fame and is produced by Sivaji Productions. The Ajith-Saran combo has in the past created records and a hat-trick: Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam and Attagasam!
